I recently began using Murad Acne Complex and Iam planning to stick with for a good 3 to 4 weeks for good results, I hope. My skin doesn't usually experience sensativity but after using the products my skin sometimes burns and doesn't feel totally soft and smooth. Iam wondering if my recent breakouts are my skin purging or irritation...

The same exact thing happended to me. You have to just be careful, it is very strong so I would not overuse some of it, especially the cleanser. I haven't been that happy with the results, it dries my skin out like crazy and pimples come back a lot of the time.

I just started to use murad acne complex about 2 weeks ago... i also have been taking the pureskin supplements kind of on and off. ive noticed some results.. but how long until i have totally clear skin?

I LOVE murad. It took me maybe 2 days to notice a difference and I think about a week to see all my pimples had disappeared. 2 weeks to see my blemishes start to fade. The small pimple spot cream gets rid of a pimple in one effin' day. I am so happy! :)

I have too many pimples. I hate that!!! I need help. I would like to try murad acne complex but I'm not sure. Can you give me you opinion about this product plz?

Well, my mom bought me a the Acne Free kit. It's a lot like proactive, but I think it works better. Theres a Cleanser, (step 1) toner( step 2) and finally the repair lotion (step 3). There's also a bonus small tube of this strong stuff, It's a type of gel, and you put it on your black/white heads, pimple, etc, and it just dissoves. Acne Free really works wonders. =]

Well ive been using acne complex for about 3 months now.. and ive seen some improvement. but i always break out before my period and i can never prevent that.. but after all the years of using diff. products my skin is so damaged.. like its really dry and oily. and the texture is just not good and dry . only on forehead though. i just starting using olay moisturizurs.. any other suggestions to prevent acne and help my skin back to normal?

It sounds like you may have combination skin (part oily, part dry), which is the toughest to combat.

The thing you want to prevent is overdrying. The Murad acne complex is good, but if your acne isn't severe, it can overdry your face. When you overdry your skin, the skin will actually rebel and increase oil production, which will in turn make you break out more.

Always use a moisterizing cleanser, even if your skin is oily. The PH of your skin will get messed up if you always use cleanser with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid in it..not good. Follow with a good toner, and finally a good moisterizer. It doesn't always have to be the drying, "made for severe acne" lotions. What I do that seems to help with breakouts before my periods is using the acne lotion 1 week before I'm supposed to get my period. That will usually lessen the breakout without drying out my skin too much.Only use it at night though, once a day.

If you are looking for the best moisterizer around for combination skin, get Philosophy's "Hope in a Jar." It's pretty amazing and can totally repair skin that has been traumatized by acne. It retails for $35 bucks and you can get it at www.sephora.com.

Hi, I've had acne for 7yrs now. I've used a number of products that seemed to work but then never really do. I've been to the dermatologist who recommended stuff-they kinda worked for a while but then I started breaking out again. I saw this infomercial about Murad and went to their website and was wondering if it'd really clear-up my skin. I need to. This acne situation is really starting to tear me down. Help!!!

It didn't really work for me. It did for like the first week, then it came back. I've tried pretty much everything you can. Every person is different.

I know it comes with the cleanser, the exfoliating gel, and the perfecting lotion, but does it come with the acne spot treatment and the mask in every 60 day kit, or just the first introductory kit?
