I would like to lose weight with body wraps but I can't afford to do them professionally. Does anyone know where I can find "recipes" or books that have them so I can do this at home?

In place of the sheets that they use to wrap around areas of your body, what did you use or should you use in their place?

you can use rolls of brown ace bandages.

I have taken body wraps before in the larger cities where they are available. I am located in a one horse town. I would like to know if anyone had any success with a home made body wrap? Can you give me some directions on how to do one? Thank you!

Body wraps are tricky to do yourself- get someone to help you wrap yourself up in the bandages soaked in product.

Used coffee grounds are good to use as a scrub to help cellutile. Anything w/ algae is great to use because it is a detox. If you are wanting a refreshing wrap, use peppermint oil mixed w/ olive oil or jojoba oil. These will smooth skin & soften it up.

If you are wanting to lose water weight this is the way to go, but remember as soon as you rehydrate yourself, the weight will be right back. It is just a temporary loss of inches.

Once you have yourself all wrapped up, wrap yourself in a plastic sheet of some sort to help you sweat out toxins & impurities.

Easily! I watched what the salon did, and did it myself from then on. First totally lotion up your body. Wrap your body in Saran Wrap. Place an electric blanket over your body (head out!)...........if you have a chaise or even a long lawn chair, lie on this with the blanket on, the Sarn Wrap, and the lotion......for an hour. (read a book, watch t.v., talk on phone).......now, go wash up, you're done.........and cheaply, too!

I know I can make those body wraps at home I just dont know what goes into the solution I read it in a magazine once and cant remember where i read it if you know please help

Why would you want to do that? That stuff is nonsense and has no effect on fat. All it will do is sweat off a little water that has to be replaced.

Heat will help your body absorb moisture. It opens the pores.
