Cocoa Butter works the best..I use this brand: http://www.imedmart.com/ALBA-BOTANICA/Hawaiian-Cocoa-Butter-Hand-Body-Lotion/7-oz.html and for body wash I use this:

My skin is so much smoother and softer now I can't believe it..

You can, but it probably won't do any good either. Adding more oil to the scalp, will lead to more dandruff.

I asked a question earlier about why my 11 year old son has all this dead dry skin after he finishes bathing, and I told told that I need to apply a good thick moisturizing body lotion on him after he gets out while he is still damp. What should I use and how much do I use?

try CUREL. I say half a pump for each area.

you should also get him to wash with a moisturizing body wash. dove works pretty well!

QV Moisturising lotion, Cocoa butter, Vaseline body lotion and all Nivea lotions are good :)

I would try Aquaphor or Eucerin. Both are very good at healing dry skin. Good luck!
