I had my first facial yesterday and loved the way my skin felt. I want to start taking better care of my face but don't really know how. I am 28 years old. My skin is probably normal/slightly oily and I battle blackheads. Any reccommendations or advice would be appreciated.

Try this routine it helped me a lot!!!

Morning- Wash face with only non perfume soap and water
apply diluted tea tree oil with a cotton wool bud to the affected areas leave on to dry.
Dont wear make up

Night- Wash face with water and non perfume soap
apply sudo cream onto spots leave on over night

Once a week use a deep pour clensing face mask!!
eat 5 pieces of fruit a day.
Drink pleantly of water.
Your skin will be clear in no time!
Keep it up even when spots have gone :D

Your skin will be glowing in no time!

I've heard that many skin care/cleansing products (i.e. Clearasil or Clean&Clear) can really burn your skin and make it sting. I'm worried that I'll have that problem too, so what products would you recommend for daily skin care cleaning that WILL NOT burn or sting skin?

a natural way to clean ur face would be to put some cold milk on one of those flat cotton balls and rub it all over your face make sure u rub it good. u wont believe how much dirt comes off ur face. i thought it was crazy at first but after trying it i was amazed. you dont have to worry about it stinging because its just milk. trust

I try to eat very healthy and i drink plenty of water as well. I was just curious to know which products are working for other people though.

Right now, i use very simple skincare.

my skins reallly dry
i use clean & clear face wash,acne treatment stuff & moisturiser.

The directions on my facial cleanser, alcohol-free toner, and facial moisturizer all say to avoid using the product on the delicate skin near the eyes.

So what is the proper way to cleanse and care for the skin in this area?
(Also, I rarely wear make up, so I don't use make up remover).

Well, my first suggestion is to switch to a cleanser that doesn't have a warning about the skin around the eyes. It seems that a good cleanser would work for skin all over your face. If you are using a special cleanser (like one for acne,) try using another more gentle cleanser first.

Buy an eye cream. I think that Olay and Neutrogena make them. They are usually targeted at middle-aged and older women, but they are still good for you if you are younger.

Of course, never pull the skin around your eyes. Be gentle with it! Pulling it can lead to future wrinkles!
