I know a young girl who is depressed and forced to shave facial hair after five laser treatments that burned her face and did not reduce hair. Any suggestions for a treatment course?

uh. just wax? you'll get used to doing it a lot eventually... I suggest parissa hardening wax.

for those who have undergone facial laser hair removal, do the doctor also remove the excess eyebrows on the t-zone?

what i mean is that your two eyebrows are almost meeting up each other! the excess part is on the middle!

do the doctor also remove that excess part?

they can. i laser my face and my arms, and i did my eye brows and i am very happy with them. they put tape all over ur eyebrows except for the parts u want to get rid of so that they dont take too much off. they put more than the regular eye safety pieces on u though.

u should do it. i'm happy with it.

I'm not even 30 so far, but my face looks incredibly old. I have a lot of lines and wrinkles in my face mainly to the lack of sleep that I've been getting over the years. Now I recently read something in a magazine about laser facial rejuvination. has anyone ever tried that so far and can tell me how safe and effective that treatment is?

It is a great procedure....you should see someone who also offers chemical peels and microdermabrasion so that they can taylor the best solution for you.

I live in the SF Bay Area and was thinking of just going with Kaiser. It will be about $200 for the first session. Any input?

That is cheap. I was going to get charged 500.00 per session. I live in PR.

Don't do it! The laser hair removal isn't permanent and doesn't work on everyone. I know it doesn't work on blonde, white, or red hair. The results can last anywhere from a few weeks to 6 months and insurance doesn't cover it. The price depends on where you go but you can expect to pay at least $75 a treatment (which can be anywhere from 20-60 minutes). If you're looking for a permanent solution I would try electrolysis, it's a lot less painful and it produces results :)

I heard about not too long ago that it is possible to get free laser surgery done by someone who is doing practice. Anyone know where I can look for those kinds of places because I am completely lost
