Retin-A (one of the things in many anti-aging creams) is very good for stretch marks. Nothing can make them disappear completely but it lightens them so much you can really only feel them and not see them. Retin-A is absorbed through the skin so it cannot be used while pregnant or nursing. And since it is most effective when the marks are at their worst, by the time you finish nursing, it may be too late to get great benefits from it.

hey! Yeh i tried it for a while but its not that good. It might be good in the early stages of pregnancy that you are in but when you get around to the 26+ wks i would try some BIO OIL Get it from your local chemist. (I dont know where you are from but im from australia) Oils are much better than the creams otherwise do both. You can never have too much when it comes to maybe getting stretchmarks! I thought i was going to be lucky and get none at all but mine started coming out at 34wks... and you dont get rid of them either!

Looking for the best cream or lotion that could help keep the stretch marks to a limit.

I had tried many. They said coconut. But none works. I still have my strecht marks. Best is not to gain too much weight. Ask your doctor what your ideal weight is. It should be just baby weight about 12-15 pounds. But ask your Dr.

my mom has 3 kids and never got a single stretch mark. Im trying to continue that legacy.

Well I just had my 1st baby 4 & 1/2 months ago & my belly got HUGE!!!! But not a single stretch mark. I religiously used Pure Simplicity Stretch Mark Solution with 100% Cocoa from Bath & Body Works. A 5 oz tub goes for about $12. Use it when you wake up, after you shower, before you go to bed & any time in between. Its not at all greasy like some of the others I tried & it smells great!
